Givers should not be complainers. We should not do our service of love for others in complaining. We should love in love. That is we should give in love. We should be a blessing in love. We should be instruments of blessings to others. Our love should not waver at any time. God wants us to love our brethren genuinely. He teaches through his words that we should be very loving and caring. There is a great need for love in the world today. Let those of us who are the children of light allow our lights to shine before men so that they may see our good works and glorify our heavenly Father.
Giving care should not be with discrimination. We should not be generous in some ways and refuse to help in some other ways. There are people whose lives need money. What such people want is financial assistance. We should not refrain from helping such people. It is not going to be fair if a student needs money for school fees and you give him your old dresses to wear. That does not solve his problem. We should rather give Him what he wants and add other things. If someone comes to you for money, give him the money. Those you know that are in financial crises, try to help them with you finances.
As the people from the body of Christ, we have responsibility to take care of those who are in need. We should not only shoulder the financial needs of our relatives alone. We can extend our helping hand to others. May God grant us grace.
