Though I have been seeing a glimpse of it when I join the mass indoctrination, I did not know that the MCGI cares is actually good when it comes to giving out to the needy.
I do not like comparing anf i would not want to compare, but unlike the other churches I know, the MCGI actually takes Christianity to another level and i am happy to have witnessed the beautiful sight today.
I joined the meeting today and I saw the help MCGI is rendering to everyone far and wide. I almost shed a tear of joy because I was really happy to see what was going on. GOD BLESS MCGI CARES.
As always, I do not miss the opportunity to broaden my knowledge when I see one, however, today, I learnt quite a few things from the meeting which i will share below.
Showing mercy is a high level of holiness.
The good thing you do, the love you show to your brother will be paid back to you.
He that have pity to the less fortunate and help them lendeth into the lord. This is seen in the Bible passage below 👇
Proverbs 19:17 He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the LORD; and that which he hath given will he pay him again.
The life we will live in this world is a life filled with the mercy we show to others. We must show mercy in other to get eternal life. This is seen in the Bible passage below.
Matthew 25:34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 25:35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: 25:36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. 25:37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? 25:38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? 25:39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? 25:40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
After giving to the needy, a closing prayer was said and the meeting was ended.
I am happy to have partook in this blessing and I hope to join in next time.
