Whether we like it or not we must have hardships in life. They are part of what must come our way in life. Having God in our lives does not exempt us from this.
Some people make the mistake of thinking that because they are faced with these challenges it means that God has forgotten them. That is far from the truth. God is not one that would leave helpless when we need Him the most. He sees everything and know what we are going through.
There are just some things we can't understand and have a hard time figuring out. Instead of trying to lean on our own understanding we should surrender it to God. Only by doing that can we truly see change in our situation is at all we desire one.
Hardships do not mean the end of the world for us. To unbelievers it may seem that way, but not for we who are in Christ. Sometimes it is a way by which we exercise our faith as believers. We may not really know just how much we trust and believe in God until we are faced with this challenges.
