The evil that goes on in the world today keeps getting worse by the day. But does this mean that God delights in the evil that is happening around us? No. God does not delight in evil befalling His people. When God created the world there was no evil in it and He never intended for evil to enter it.
Psalm 8:4
What is man, that thou art mindful of him? And the son of man, that thou visitest him?God cares so much about us that it makes even the angels to wonder.
If so much care and affection from God is upon man then it makes no sense for Him to want evil to befall us. We should be rest assured that anything evil is not from God.
James 1:17
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
God wants nothing less than good for us. But there is an enemy who opposes this from happening. His mission is to cause pain and affliction to God's people. But we have an assurance that Jesus has overcome all on our behalf.
