The image of God is not in physical appearance. This is because God is a spirit. God is a spirit and therefore he is not identified by physical outlook for physical structures. We are humans and every human has a body. There are different bodies for different creatures.
Image defines what a person looks like. If we are in the image of God, that means that we are looking like God. Because we are looking like God, it will mean that we shave the attributes and qualities of God. So, the image of God is in our character and our lifestyle.
As those who carry the image of God, we should be holy. Holiness is a life of sinlessness. Holy living is what makes us resemble God. When we live holy, we are like God.
God is good. So, in the image of God we are living a life of goodness. We should show goodness towards everyone. We should do good works. God is Love. Those who have the image of God will be those who love others. Let us express the love of God to others by doing good works.
