I always like the steel pennies, I've got a few sets of them around here somewhere, and some of the 1944 ones as well. I wish I had a 1943 bronze, that would be sweet, but very expensive!

I enjoy the collecting process. If I had enough money to start it, I could see myself really enjoying running a coin shop and looking for all these rare dates and coins in everything that came my way.
I thought about doing that once myself, but the capital needed to get going was just too much. I figured I could start a humble shop with $100K, but to be a real competitor you need something in the ball park of $500K to one million. I love collecting too, I still haven't added a decent 1909 S VDB to my collection, and the 1922 plain is another penny that is just a dream!
Yeah unfortunately I can imagine it is pretty expensive to start up, especially when you consider all the additional security needed as a coin dealer. Oh well... if I hit the lottery!
