Hello Hivers and friends of Plantpowervegan. How are you enjoying the weather today. It has been very hot and has continued even therefore making us to need lots of water, drinks and salads to keep hydrated.
And for my recipes of today friends, we will be enjoying a freshly made papaya salad 🥗 with some fruits toppings. I was needing to enjoy some salads to help with how the weather has been. I don’t know if am the only one complaining but guys the heatwave is alarming . Lots of water, drinks and homemade prepared chilled salads are what the season needs
Here guys are how I prepared and served this salad you will enjoy.
INGREDIENTS:
1/2 pf a large papaya fruit
2 well ripped cherry tomatoes
1 orange
1 finger banana
A pinch of salt
STEPS FOR PREPARATION:
Step 1.
To prepare this salad, I will start by washing, cutting the papaya in rounds and further into small squares. Then peel and chop into small sizes.
Step 2.
I will wash the cherry tomatoes, slice and dice them in cubes. And the banana in rounds.
Step 3.
The orange I will peel , cut into two then will use finger tips to separate the pulps to be in bulks.
Step 4.
Here I will set to mix the fruits together using a flat plate since I do not need to stir them. I will start by adding the papaya in the flat plate.
Step 5.
Next I will add the orange pulps and the banana dropping them strategically.
Step 6.
The diced cherry tomatoes I will also drop around forming extra toppings.
Step 7.
Finally I will add the pinch of salt into some orange juice that dropped from the pulps, stir and sprinkle it all around the now fully papaya mix.
And this papaya salad is all ready. Fresh and deliciously appetizing. I will take it to the refrigerator to chill it for 30 minutes before finally serving it. This is a healthy appetizer we all need especially at this time of the season.
