Thanks for the update. Pumpkin is not a common vegetable/fruit in my region. There's a market where they sell imported fruits and vegetables that I was referred to, I hope to find it there when I check this weekend.

I thought pumpkin was also common in Africa; it's surprising to learn otherwise. However, I believe it's a fruit that can easily grow in your area because it adapts to many climates and soils. Plus, planting it is very simple; all you need are the seeds.

If it's not too expensive, you could try some of the recipes.

The pumpkin we have here is a different specie, and the leaves 🍃 are what we eat, the pumpkin plant is only used for planting. I've never seen it eaten and they are usually very large like watermelon
