A transcendental event will happen soon after; the suicide of one of the characters, whose fate is assigned to a curse of the nefarious book. The narrator plays with the facts, jumps the limits of fiction and reflects on how literature has permeated reality, to the point of not distinguishing one from the other. Certainly the works of some authors have become premonitory, but they are also inscribed in the world of fiction and must remain there.

He also reveals his fascination with clans, societies and secret sects, in the novel they are interested in the awakening of Cthulhu, creating an atmosphere of tension and suspense that keeps the reader in suspense.
The events described here defy human comprehension because within the narrative itself a chronicle is presented, which contributes to questioning reality. The characters also remain wrapped up in their personal dilemmas, which contribute a great emotional charge to the work. Another outstanding characteristic is that the narrator requires the active participation of the reader to organize the pieces of the puzzle.

El nombre llamó mi atención, pues hace poco leí una antología del mencionado autor estadounidense, especialista en el género del terror, de allí que mi interés aumentó. Después de leer el prólogo me invadieron varias dudas porque se cuestiona a cuál género pertenece este texto, pisando la delgada línea realidad - ficción. De hecho, el mismo prólogo deja esa inquietud porque la narración es asignada a la esposa de uno de los involucrados en la historia.
En lo subsiguiente, ya en las entrañas de la novela, se encontrará a un grupo de escritores que sigue el legado literario instaurado por H.P. Lovecraft. El relato gira en tono a la aparición de ‘‘Necronomicón’’, libro que contiene ritos y conjuros satánicos que permite invocar a seres sobrenaturales. Los personajes "saben" por referencia literaria que tal libro no existe, es producto de la imaginación de Lovecraft, porque lo nombra en su cuento El ser en el umbral, de allí que se presenta el enigma por determinar quién registró tal libro en el fichero electrónico de la biblioteca.
Un hecho trascendental sucederá poco después; el suicido de uno de los personajes, cuyo destino se le asigna a una maldición del libro nefasto. El Círculo de Lovecraft es una obra que rinde homenaje al destacado escritor estadounidense porque en ella podemos encontrar elementos que mezclan el terror, el misterio y la ciencia ficción, de manera que al lector exponerse a sus páginas se interese por indagar en los autores clásicos del género.
