I was blown away to learn that the author was the first woman to win the Nobel Prize and that she originally wrote this on commission for schools. It's incredible how she managed to blend geography and culture lessons with such a magical plot without it feeling like a boring class.

Yes, I was also surprised that the author was the first woman to win a Nobel Prize in Literature. This is a work full of learning, but as you say, it's not boring at all; on the contrary, it's fascinating. You'll love it.
