A book focused on personal learning through well-known stories with their well-defined morals and values.
Hola a todos, en la universidad mi ex suegra me hizo un pequeño regalo que aún conservo conmigo, puesto que guarda un pequeño valor y aún sigo dándole un muy buen uso, y pues en esta ocasión les vengo a compartir sobre "It's the cow's fault" volumen 2. Un libro enfocado en el aprendizaje personal a través de relatos conocidos con sus moralejas y valores bien definidos.
Written by Jaime López Gutiérrez and Marta Inés Bernal in 2007 under the editorial license of Printer Latinoamericana for reading circles, this second volume contains a total of 205 well-known stories and tales from various writers, plus three additions on ways to leverage the book's knowledge, as well as advice and perspectives on words with more innocent meanings. This book is one of the best-known and best-selling for the knowledge and evolution of the being, because the lessons we learn while reading each part of it come to have a strong impact on us, since the way in which they are told goes a little beyond simply delighting the reader, but also makes them understand a little more of the inner aspects that each conventional story can have.

Este libro es de los más conocidos y de los más vendidos para el conocimiento y evolución del ser, pues las lecciones que aprendemos mientras leemos cada parte de este llegan a tener impacto fuerte en nosotros, pues la forma en la que están contadas va un poco más allá de simplemente deleitar al lector, sino hacerlo entender un poco más lo interno que puede tener cada historia convencional.
It covers the values of tolerance, appreciation for the intangible, the true meaning of love and self-worth, as well as a vast array of other stories willing to help and support through each paragraph. It also includes well-known stories like the one about the hare and the rabbit, but more extensive and delving deeper than just the main story, where it not only teaches us the core value of not taking something for granted without effort, but also what redemption is from the perspective of the same council after some time has passed after losing the race.
Abarca desde los valores de la tolerancia, el aprecio a lo no material, el verdadero significado del amor y el autovalorarnos, así como una inmensa variedad más dispuesta a ayudar y apoyar a través de cada párrafo; así mismo, relatos conocidos como el de la liebre y el conejo, pero más extendido y ahondando más allá de solo la historia principal, donde no solo nos enseña el valor principal de lo que es no dar algo por hecho sin esfuerzo, sino lo que es la redención de la perspectiva del mismo concejo pasado tiempo después de perder la carrera.
One of the reasons I was given this copy was precisely for that love of looking a little deeper into things, and I also remember that another reason was the fact that she wanted me to read stories that she knew would give me or help me understand and feel better about myself, since it has specific stories for all kinds of people or conflicts. An example of this is that it has the well-known story of "The Bill That Gives Nothing" or, as it is titled here, "A Beautiful Bill," that story where a son charges his mother for the work done only to later see the cost of what his upbringing and dedication on her part was, leaving us with the valuable lesson of the true appreciation and value of a mother.
Una de las razones por las que se me fue regalado este ejemplar fue exactamente por ese gusto a buscar un poco más allá de las cosas, y recuerdo también que otra de las razones fue el hecho de que quería que leyera historias que sabía ella me darían o me ayudarían a entender y sentirme mejor conmigo misma, puesto que tiene historias específicas para todo tipo de personas o conflictos; un ejemplo de esto es que posee en este la tan conocida historia de "la cuenta que no da nada" o, como está titulado acá, "Una preciosa factura", aquel relato donde un hijo cobra a su madre el trabajo realizado para luego ver el costo de lo que fue su crianza y dedicación por parte de ella, dejándonos la valiosa lección del verdadero aprecio y valor de una madre.
Among my favorites are "The Space Ring," which teaches us the sentimental value of things and that not everyone sees our true value, and only those who are sincere with us will let us know; "The Four Candles," as a representation of hope over all values and how these can be lost if hope fails; and the title of this book, "It's the Cow's Fault," as a representation of how we tend to leave problems and blame on others without taking an ounce of responsibility for our actions.
Entre mis favoritas está "El anillo espacial", donde nos enseña el valor sentimental de las cosas y que no todos ven el valor real que tenemos y solo aquellos sinceros hacia nosotros nos lo harán saber; "Las cuatro velas", como una representación de la esperanza sobre todos los valores y cómo estos se pueden ver perdidos si esta falla; y el que lleva el título de este ejemplar, "La culpa es de la vaca", como la representación de cómo solemos dejar los problemas y la culpa a los demás sin tener una pizca de responsabilidad de nuestros actos.
Likewise, this book aims to be interactive, with a small space at the end that allows us to be analytical about our intentions for the book, allowing us to write down how we will use the lessons learned and to whom we will pass on those values. Beyond being a book that seeks to provide a completely positive lesson or moral, it also seeks to be realistic, delivering powerful blows and a vision that everything has an explanation, as well as that the best hopes are those that leave us with eternal reflection. Despite the years, I continue to put into practice everything I've learned and continue to learn daily with each story reread.
Así mismo, este busca ser interactivo con un pequeño espacio al final que nos deja ser analíticos con las intenciones que tendremos con el libro, permitiéndonos escribir cómo usaremos el aprendizaje adquirido y a quiénes pasaremos esos valores. Más allá de ser un libro que busque dar un aprendizaje o moraleja totalmente positiva, también busca ser realista, dando golpes contundentes y una visión de que todo tiene una explicación, así como que las mejores esperanzas son las que nos dejan una reflexión eterna, pues a pesar de los años, sigo poniendo en práctica todo lo que he aprendido y sigo aprendiendo a diario con cada historia releída.
