Whoa! 20 years is indeed a really long time and like you, I don’t think we can see such a love today.

This book sounds like one I would like to read but I’d prefer to watch a movie of it instead and read its hard copy if I ever see it.

        This book (an epic poem) is one of my favorites. The journeys are really interesting. I had an A in the course. I'm sure you'll enjoy reading or watching the movie- it should be on YouTube.
