Hii and hello my fellow book lovers. A few months ago I made a post about a book I was reading and how I hoped to finish it soon so I can move to the next and prolly build myself a mini collection. Wellllllllllll I'm not gonna lie it took a whole lot.
I do have this procrastination problem and apart from that I tend to forget things that are out of sight. I do love reading but I just have to convince myself to do it first. So last week Monday I finally got myself to read for an hour everyday and yeah I went from almost beginning to end of the book and I am so excited because it did bother me that I wasn't able to get myself to focus and finish this book buh yepieeee I did it.
One thing I can say for sure is that I am definitely not the person I was when I started reading this, which is pretty normal if you ask me. A lot of people tend to forget that you can't be the same person from the beginning of a book to the end and I'll tell you why. The knowledge, the experience, the imagination, the confusions as well if you ask me, the curiosity and most of all the enlightenment after completing a book.
This doesn't just apply to psychological books like this that teach you more about the way you are and why things are the way they are or maybe something on finances, naaaaa far from it. Even romance, fiction and nonfiction books have the same effect. Expand your thinking and make you wonder “how many things don't I know about” according to books… A LOT!!!
I've always loved reading books but like I said earlier never really got myself to do it. I love being able to dive into another world with your mind and understanding things more than you used to. The whole thought of it is giving Bell in a library 😅😅
Anyways back to this book I would say I am more enlightened now. I understand more things about myself than I did before. How to work towards strengthening my weaknesses that come with my temperament combination and also understanding the fact that no two humans have the same temperament combination so it is quite useless to always compare yourself to others.
I love how this book carefully explains temperaments using different activities including dealing with pressure and many other detailed topics. It is pretty normal to be confused or lost sort of if you don't have a full understanding of who you are and why you like things the way you do and thus causes a mental conflict of some sort when you get to a certain age and you still haven't gotten a hang of it. This book has helped me puy my mind at ease and I definitely recommend it for anyone. Whether you want to understand yourself better or you want to understand a friend or partner thus goes a long way in helping you.
