John Wydham, well I never! He was a favourite of mine growing up and I rarely come across anyone who's familiar with him. I remember being disappointed after getting through some 700 Enid Blyton's that Wyndham had written so little. Every one is a gem but 'Midwich Cuckoos' is my favourite.
