La voz en llama, título de la antología que recorre la obra de ambos poetas sirve como pretexto para decir, la llama amorosa de dos bardos a través de un puente literario.
La voz en llama es también el título de uno de los poemas de la Aguirre y no se equivoco la editorial Gente Nueva en esta propuesta que se desliza entre los más desgarradores textos que viajan desde el verso clásico y las formas más arcaicas hasta la más libre de las estrofas, incluyendo todos los parajes que permiten las diferentes estructuras poéticas reflejando aquellos misterios que para nosotros andan ocultos y solo son visibles en confesiones como Presagio de la burla final, Motivos y el Enigma del amante horrible de Villena o Poesía de amor natural, Platero y yo y Poema de la verdad profunda pertenecientes a la poetisa.
Es cierto que tanto Villena como Mirtha Aguirre no se encuentran de moda dentro de los jóvenes y adolescentes sin embargo llegar a las puertas de ambas catedrales nos enseñan una peculiar manera de tocar la poesía y en todo caso de regalarnos el contagio de leerlos y re-leernos a nosotros mismos en una sensibilidad de actitudes bautizadas por un puente de inagotable inspiración que termina en este libro sobre el pasto de otros títulos imprescindibles.
Madrigal, La pupila insomne, Canción del sainete póstumo, Poema último, Lo frágil, son títulos que junto a sonetos, coplas y villancicos completan la presencia antológica de ambos escritores donde temas tal ves gastados por su uso común aquí se muestran en otro espacio, otra caverna que sin dudas es el reflejo del otro, trascendiendo el ego de ambos para asumir lo colectivo, lo plural y lo diverso:
Yo moriré prosaicamente, de cualquier cosa/… envuelto en un sudario de santa compasión. / …. En esa soledad en que es posible/mirar los ojos de nosotros mismos/ yo te escribo un poema.
Suave es la equivalencia que existe entre ambos poetas en este libro consciente de renovación, lenguaje de hombre y mujer, amenidad temática que se extiende como dos brazos hacia la totalidad sin asumir códigos exuberantes, sino desde lo humano, desde la síntesis y no con la simple complacencia de quienes ya lo han leído y creen en el enriquecimiento espiritual sino que esta vez el acercamiento presupone la profanación de todos los puertos, mostrando la llama inapagable de la poesía que puede conmover a los más jóvenes, pues si me preguntaran, seguramente sorprendido por la pregunta, diría que tanto ayer como hoy, ambas poéticas tienen un momento insustituible o mejor aun una palabra, un instrumento de poder que rebasa la palabra y se derrama en salud de la literatura cubana al tiempo que propone al lector que busca placer en este género, entrar al mundo lírico de dos poetas únicos, Rubén Martínez Villena y Mirtha Aguirre.
