The lands are dried with the vegetation dying off. It is the usual shade during the dry season. Usually, January is dry and cool. It is the heart of winter. In some countries of the world, they experience snow. We do not usually have snow in the tropics. But our usual Christmas and new year weather has always been the dry harmattan.
