Today’s photo is simple, but that doesn’t mean I love it any less. It shows a tiny ant approaching to drink water from the surface of a mirror. On that reflective surface, not only is the ant mirrored, but also a clear blue sky. I love that contrast between something as small as an ant and the vastness of the sky. I think life, like this photo, is full of those kinds of contrasts—so if you come across one, don’t miss the chance to grab a camera and capture the moment. That’s all: enjoy the smallest and most earthly things, and the largest and most celestial ones. There’s magic everywhere.
La fotografía de hoy será simple, pero no por eso le tengo menos cariño. La foto es una pequeña hormiguita que se acerca a beber agua sobre la superficie de un espejo. En la superficie reflectante no solo se refleja la hormiga, sino un cielo azul despejado. Me gusta ese contraste entre algo tan pequeño como una hormiga y el infinito del azul cielo.
