Something that caught my attention was that after searching for the name of the plant, I discovered it is Silene colorata. The most surprising part is that it typically grows in the Mediterranean, very far from where I live, so it might be an invasive species—or maybe I got the identification wrong, who knows? Haha! But I also found out that this species has a great ability to adapt to different climates.
Algo que me llamó la atención fue que después de una búsqueda para encontrar el nombre de la planta, descubrí que se trata de Silene colorata. Y lo más sorprendente es que es una planta que crece en el Mediterráneo, muy lejos de donde vivo, así que quizás sea una especie invasora o quizás me equivoqué con la identificación, todo puede ser, jajaja. Of the two photos, my favorite is undoubtedly the one with the reflections in the water. After the rain, small puddles form on the path, lasting only a few days, but it is the perfect time to capture all kinds of reflections—from the bluest sky to the leaves mirrored over the stones at the bottom—a fascinating contrast. Nature seems to be a giant mirror, calmly reflecting its beauty.
De las dos fotos, mi favorita sin dudas es la de los reflejos en el agua. Después de llover, se hacen pequeños charcos de agua en el camino que solo duran unos días, pero es el mejor momento para capturar todo tipo de reflejos, desde el cielo más azul hasta las hojas reflejadas sobre las piedras del fondo, una mezcla de contrastes muy interesante. La naturaleza parece ser, sin dudas, un espejo gigante que refleja en escena tranquila su belleza.
