When I went out this morning, the sun was still shy and there were no shadows to chase. By the time I got back home, the light slipped through as my kids were standing in the room holding their drinks, their shadows were dancing on the floor like playful ghosts.
I stopped, smiled, and whispered to myself:
Let me hunt for the shadows.
Then I sneak around to catch the wavy outline of a chair, the long stretch of a tree, The kids giggle, the drinks wobble, and the house feels alive again.
