Summer Summer when you call us?
I hope you are doing great during this period of nice weather may be hot but in general interesting moment of the year.
In the spirit of this period, I try to play around with my camera more than I used to do on the regular basis.
My choice for the shadow hunt mission was the living room and the furniture casting on the floor the dark shape changing according to the movement of the light.

The first photo above is my entry in the contest. I appreciate this opportunity allowing the publication of Shadows.
In the evening afer a long day outside working under a sever heat, you want to spend a calm evening at home.
The only issue is the presence of the mosquitoes that disturb anyone siting in the living room trying to watch a good movie or scrolling on the smartphone.
In my battle to reduce the number of insect flying around and causing much disturbance I found that the light caused a shape of the furniture to be visible on the floor forming the shadow.

It was because of the mosquitoes that I paid much attention to the shadow on the floor. In summer, it is not easy to conduct activities after sunset.
The heat inside the room was not bearable, so the window was left opened way past the sun disappearance.
The room temperature returned to the normal condition of the evening, but the mosquitoes find their way in the room.
I had the net with small mesh on the window panel to filter whatever the wind carries inside the room. However, the wind speed has to break through the barriers on his way to cool down the inner temperature.
My plan is to survive this evening the wave of mosquitoes inside the room with a cool instrument I will present to the reading audience in my next publication. As a sneak peek, it is an electric paddle.
It is a second hunting party for me on this particular evening, so I take it on the right way a positive mindset. It is a momentary disturbance that will leave as the season changes.
On the other hand, I took the photos the first occasion I observed the projection on the floor, then I kept hunting the insects in the living room.
