What a rainy day over the entire southern side of the country!
It has been raining since the end of the weekend. I love the rain. When it is too long, it becomes difficult.
I hope you are doing better on your side of the world.
It was not the great time to capture shadow around the household, but I was lucky to store many old photos for the occasion.
The weather is not getting better in this first two weeks of summer, and I hope the sun is back soon to allow beautiful photos of shadow from Cotonou City.

The first photo above is my entry in the contest. I hope you will appreciate the hunter position I took before freezing this moment in memory for life.
There are only two photos in this publication. I found myself with no possibility to hunt for more shadow due to the terrible weather condition.
The special condition of limited light shining on the object during the day time create a special challenge to the hunters of shadows.
It is a great opportunity to practice how good my techniques are going to be to share quality photo despite the natural negative impact.

I was at my friends house. He was about to run out to the grocery store. I proposed to pick him up on my motorbike instead as the cloudy wheather was not showing sign of ease.
After our arrival home the sun decided to appear briefly in between a small group of scattered clouds. It was at this moment that I saw the shadow on the floor.
It looks ordinary at first but it hit me. The sun is back. I took rapidly the photos and ask my friend to change the position of the motorbike so that I could get a better catch of the shadow from the front wheel.
I made the right choice to pick these photos on the location where is motorbike was parked instead of my own.
The sunlight did not last fifteen minutes then the clouds reclaim the empty spot in the sky shielding the sun for the rest of the afternoon.
