Jamais vu. A strange, bizarre, almost otherworldly feeling when you suddenly don't recognize a familiar place, person, thing, word.
I didn't recognize my country house. There used to be a plot of land near it, overgrown with boxwood bushes. But a year ago a butterflies appeared that almost destroyed everything. We tried to fight the scourge, but the bushes were dense, it was impossible to process all.
Now there are a few bushes left and the chances of fighting the pest are increasing.
In place of the bushes that Dad cut down recently, there is now bare ground. Unusually. That's why I don't recognize my native place.
And cats are fine. They like to roll in the dust. From afar I noticed White, who was dozing in the sun. I went up to say hello. And suddenly I froze in admiration.
After all, the entire lawn, as well as the wall of the house, were covered with bizarre clear shadows from the branches of a huge walnut. And the cat is like a white spot on this colorful background. Beautiful! I had not previously examined the territory from this angle, because it was overgrown with boxwood and therefore it was difficult to walk.
So, maybe the cats are right and now it really has become better here?
Жаме вю. Дивне, химерне майже потойбічне відчуття, коли раптово не впізнаєш знайоме місце, людину, річ, слово. Я не впізнала свого сільського будинку. Раніше біля нього була ділянка, поросла кущами самшиту. Але рік тому з'явився метелик, який майже усе знищив. Ми пробували боротись із напастю, але насадження було велике і густе, нереально було обробити всі кущі, щоб уразити всіх комах:(
Зате зараз залишилося трішки кущиків і боротьба з шкідником триває.
На місці кущів, які тато зрізав нещодавно, зараз гола земля. Дивина... Тому то не впізнаю рідного місця. А котам норм. Їм подобається качатись у пилі.
Здалеку я побачила Вайта, що дрімав на сонечку. Підійшла привітатись. І раптом застигла у захопленні. Адже вся галявина, як і стіна будинку були вкриті химерними чіткими тінями від гілок величезного горіха. А кіт наче біла пляма на цьому кольоровому тлі. Красиво! Раніше я не оглядала територію з цього ракурсу, бо тут були зарослі самшиту і важко ходити.
А може коти праві і тепер тут дійсно стало краще?
