On a lovely sunny day, I decided to make a return trip to my village nature reserve.
After parking my car in the free car park, I made my way toward the entrance of the reserve, where I found the first shadows of the day.
Instead of walking down the steps, I followed the shadows down the ramp.
I noticed a couple ahead and allowed them to pass so that I could capture their shadows alongside the fence in my photographs. They were completely unaware of what I was up to.
This is my entry to the Shadow Hunter's SMASh Contest - Round 363.
It’s funny to think how our shadows can differ from our true selves; thankfully, we don’t resemble them in real life!
At the other end of the footpath, I paused to snap a picture of a woman walking in the opposite direction. After all, hunting for shadows is a serious hobby! 🙂
It was getting quite warm as I walked around. Spring is nearly here, but it felt more like summer.
Eventually, I made my way down to the manmade pond. The calm environment provided an ideal spot for shadow photography.
Overall, it was a good day for shadows!
Thank you to @melinda010100 and the Shadow Hunter's Team.
