Last Sunday at 2 PM, I took my daughter, Ina, to attend a Balinese script writing class held at the village head's office.
I wasn't sure if this was an initiative by the village head to preserve the Balinese script or a program organized by the Bali Provincial Culture Office.
What was clear, however, was that Ina had been selected by her teacher as one of the school's representatives for the event. The writing class took place in the meeting room of the village head's office, located on the second floor.
The weather was incredibly bright that day; the sun shone so intensely that the shadows cast by objects were strikingly distinct.

One such example was the shadow of the railing I noticed while escorting Ina to the second floor. Since it was her first time participating in this activity, I walked her all the way to the room.
