The Christmas season has been over for a few days now, but I still have beautiful stories to tell that link Christmas and the shadows.
I was in Oviedo walking through the streets of the old town, marvelling at the Christmas lights that filled the city with color.
With the intention of escaping the large crowds, I decided to stroll to a less crowded and more historic area of the city, the Plaza de Trascorrales.
It is a very small square with houses surrounding the square with only three floors high, a real pleasure to see classic buildings from the beginning of the 20th century still in the centre of the city.
In this square, in turn, I saw a special tree. The wishing tree. A tree decorated in a very special way.
This tree has no balls, but it is still decorated with wishes on coloured paper from the visitors to the tree.
There were messages of all kinds. Many related to football and the city's team.
Some endearing. Possibly written by a child asking for a cat.
My message to keep travelling a lot. A sign that I still have a job.
But also at this moment when I was leaving the square I remembered one more wish and that is to be able to continue hunting shadows and these are a bit peculiar as the ones I share with you below and that are my entry to the shadow hunting contest organized by @melinda010100.
Best regards.
