We had to drive around 25 kilometers off-city to get to this coffee shop that got pushed on my FB feed for their viral New York rolls. A sweet tooth like me can't miss something like this.
Radio Cafe
Radio Cafe is located at Khalifa City A, Abu Dhabi 🇦🇪. It's a pretty straightforward drive from the city center with Google Maps assistance. 😉
Location:Al Mabrouk St - Khalifa City - Sector 33 - Abu Dhabi

It is open 24 hours. We went on a Saturday at about 7:30 PM and it was not too busy, but not empty either. We immediately got a spot and I was so excited to try what they have on their menu.
They have outdoor seating, which I bet was great during cooler winter months. The bright lights and wooden benches plus cool breeze while having a sip of your favorite coffee -- I can only imagine right now since it's the peak of summer! 🥵
Let's get inside...
We were greeted by courteous staff, all accommodating and pleasant. One of them directed us inside and had us choose a spot we wanted.
Of course, before that I had to take some pictures for the blog. LOL. Oh well, we gotta do what we gotta do, right?!
We don't have inspirational quotes here. We only have a good coffee and amazing food. - Radio Cafe
I already love the simple, chill atmosphere in this cafe. It is relaxing and inviting - a perfect place to spend time with friends, family, or a special someone, meetings, remote work, or whatnot.
The colors inside are neutral with beige, gray, and brown, with some accents of teal on the couches for a splash of vibrancy. The lights are ambient with some small spotlights on the side.
They also used natural materials like wood, and concrete, and the raw finishing on the wall gives it a more industrial look. The woven tabletops add a clean appeal to the place.
The part cement and part wooden floors also are visually appealing while maintaining a minimalist look.
I also love the plants that are placed around the place that add a touch of greenery and life to the rather calm space.
And those cute succulents on top of the coffee tables provide a subtle accent, not too distracting, and definitely do not occupy a lot of space.
Display Corner
A corner in the cafe caught my attention with its beautifully crafted wooden shelves that had some interesting items displayed on them.
Isn't it nice when we really get to engage with our company while enjoying a cup of coffee? I really hate it when people are too focused on their phones while on the dining table. For me, it is a space when we can catch up with our company and just pay attention to each other.
The board games displayed here on this corner are for the customers to use. There are even puzzles for small children.
Dontfrer when your device runs out of charge. They have a charging station although I am not sure if there's a fee to use it
Other displays are old radios and a number of wrist watches!
All in all, I am very impressed with how they designed the cafe. Its design creates a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. They made use of the space and it does not give a constricting vibe. The design is minimalist yet stylish and comfortable, which is really appealing.
