At this point, i want to think that every person(okay, most persons) who has ever read a number of my posts should already be familiar with my love and expression of this love for Beans. I like the meal, very much and I'm very unapologetic about it.

I use 'unapologetic ' because although it's a meal like every other, some oersons show disdain that anyone would choose beans as their best meal and would not be embarrassed to acknowledge that it is, cause, beans isn't so, should I use the word...posh? Anyway, I don't mind neither do I care. I likeeeeee beans, a lot.
I actually cringe when anyone says that they don't. I know we all have preferences and dislikes, which is fine, but why, why would anyone not like the beauty and deliciousness that is beans? Why miss out on such goodness? Tell me why if you are one of such people.
@cheeamaka, the closet beans-lover, in a post, I think it was in a comment to a post called me the god of beans. Yes, @tayo6, I am. Actually, I need not re-introduce myself as my reputation preceeds me, but i will. I am 'okukuseku, the god of beans.' Dont ask me what that means as i dont even know myself. I've just gone by that title to show my allegiance since i was very young.
I like the meal that much. I could eat it for days, and even for a straight month. I'm the person who wouldn't mind if the beans are salty or spicy or whatever. Just bring it, and my spoon is ready. I think I should chip in at this point that beans can never not be tasty no matter how terrible a cook a person is.
Now that I have established my love for it, I'll go on to say that beans are a very tasty meal. My likeness for it can be dated back to since I was very younger. At my home, not everyone likes it. They can barely stand it except me.

It's also satisfying given that there are many ways I can enjoy it. Many combinations I can pull off which would be mind blowing; from having it with garri(soaked in cold warer), to having it with bread, to having it with spaghetti/noodles, to having it with rice, to having it with pap/custard/Oat, to having it with plantain/potato/ yam....the list is endless. If you can, name one other dish that is this versatile, and I'll wait.
Not to forget that the meal is easy to prepare and does not even require a lot of ingredients to cook it with before it bangs.
It can be made a number of ways, like plain boiled and eaten with stew, but when made into porridge, I enjoy it even better. I like how it melts in my mouth, especially when it's made with a good quantity of palm oil. I like how I always sweat a lot when I'm eating it, how it fills me, and how it leads me to hit my bed and have a restful sleep.
Beans is the GOAT of meals for me. It just ticks all the right boxes and hits the right spots every time.
Thanks for stopping by.
