Last Saturday, I was specially invited to the 6th Annual Igala Cultural Day at Federal University of Lafia, Nasarawa State.
The event is set aside to mark the rich culture of the Igala ethnic group in Nigeria as well as unit the Igala students in the institution. The event also serves as the transition from outgoing students to a new leadership for the association.

The theme of the event was tagged: Artificial Intelligence and the Culture of Reading among Students of FULafia. This was accompanied by a drama aimed at discouraging students' overdependence on Artificial Intelligence and stimulating consistent reading culture amongst students.
The event further had blend of entertainment by Igala Cultural Troop from Lafia.

The outgoing leaders were blessed and awarded fro their meritorious services and new leaders were sworn in. The most catchy scene of this part was the coronation of the new President/Attah of Igala students which was carried out by the Attah of Igala - Lafia and a fellow Igala custodian.

I duly wish to express a profound congratulations to the outgoing President/Attah of Igala students, Comrade Alhassan Wisdom Lukman and all the 24/25 EXCO as well as committed student members of Igala Students Association, FULafia Chapter for a job well done. I also extend appreciation to Alumni members especially Inikpi Joy Charles for their encouragements and support the success of the event and towards the progress of the great association. I must say, I am challenged to be more committed.

I am very much impressed by this year's event and I am dared to say, this is the best yet I have witnessed since I have been a member and served in the capacity of D.O. Sports ll in the 2023 session before recommended for Director of Socials in the mother body - National Association of Kogi State Students (NAKOSS) FULafia Chapter in 2024.

My brother and coursemate Paul Saint (Nurse Paulo) served as the Master of the Ceremony so we stole the show when it was time for photography together with King Blaq, Bashir Lawal.
