hi there @justclickindiva .. I hope you're doing okay.
I can relate to this.. I live on an island prone to storms.. my family also spends time preparing for the worst.. I tend to easily get panicked but my family is always there.. Your post reminds me to stay vigilant and ready..
Wish you and your family safety as the season approaches.. 🙏🙏
I understand. And I know you understand me after having gone through these numerous times. We can't live our lives in panic and fear. We just have to be prepared as best we can and hope for the best in terms of loss of life and destruction of our property. Living on an island prone to storms is way worse than the hiss or miss on the Gulf Coat where your location determines whether you'll get it.
On an island you can't escape it. Thanks so much for your visit and thoughts on this event. I pray your family be safe from harm. Take care and have a good rest of your week.

Yeah, it's true.. I must eliminate fear to avoid panicking.. Thanks for the advice and insight.. you have a wonderful week 💗
Yes, fear and panic are counterproductive, although we can't eliminate the feelings totally. I still become fearful when a hurricane is announced and keep vigilance in tracking it. The unknown path one will take is always concern even though we have estimates in forecast, it's never 100% for certain.
Take care.
