I want to share with you how my Friday was, a pretty relaxed day compared to the rest of the week, which was full of work and many activities and tensions. A breather is always needed, a moment to enjoy the tranquility and the environment around us.
This Friday's day had only one destination, the Sunsol Isla Caribe hotel, where I had to take a water measurement as part of the routine check-up. It is a simple but essential task, and something I quite enjoy because the tour allows me to take time to appreciate the scenery. The best thing about this task is that it does not require an early start, which allows me to take it easy in the morning before heading out.
I left after lunch, as I prefer to do this job in the afternoon. In Sunsol Isla Caribe they usually prefer this time and, besides, it suits me because I can leave it for the end of my tour, when the days have been heavier and I already need a quieter space. On this occasion, we took a different route to get to the hotel, one that allowed us to see the sea from afar. These kinds of changes may seem small, but they make all the difference when it comes to enjoying the ride.
¡Hola queridos hives! Espero que estén teniendo un excelente día. Quiero compartirles cómo fue mi viernes, un día bastante relajado en comparación con el resto de la semana, que estuvo llena de trabajo y muchas actividades y tensiones. Siempre es necesario un respiro, un momento para disfrutar de la tranquilidad y el entorno que nos rodea.
La jornada de este viernes tuvo un único destino, el hotel Sunsol Isla Caribe, donde debía realizar la medición de las aguas como parte del chequeo rutinario. Es una tarea sencilla pero esencial, y algo que disfruto bastante porque el recorrido me permite tomarme un tiempo para apreciar el paisaje. Lo mejor de esta tarea es que no requiere madrugar, lo que me permite tomar la mañana con calma antes de salir.
Salí después de almuerzo, ya que prefiero hacer este trabajo en la tarde. En Sunsol Isla Caribe suelen preferir esta hora y, además, me conviene porque lo puedo dejar para el final de mi recorrido, cuando los días han sido más pesados y ya necesito un espacio más tranquilo. En esta ocasión, tomamos una ruta diferente para llegar al hotel, una que nos permitió ver el mar desde lejos. Este tipo de cambios pueden parecer pequeños, pero marcan la diferencia cuando se trata de disfrutar el trayecto.
Upon arrival, I did not have to enter through the workers' entrance, but through the beach entrance. As there are few tourists in this season, the atmosphere was quite quiet. Unfortunately, I am not allowed to take pictures inside the hotel, but I did my job without any inconvenience, checking the cooler, the pool and the water tank. Once the tour was over, I left in peace and quiet, without haste.
Al llegar, no tuve que entrar por la entrada de los trabajadores, sino por la de la playa. Como hay pocos turistas en esta temporada, el ambiente era bastante tranquilo. Lamentablemente, dentro del hotel no tengo permitido tomar fotografías, pero hice mi trabajo sin inconvenientes, revisando la hielera, la piscina y el tanque de agua. Una vez terminado el recorrido, me retiré con tranquilidad, sin apuros.
I took the opportunity to spend some time on the beach, right in front of the hotel. The view was spectacular and it seemed like the perfect place to relax and meditate for a while. The week had been quite intense and I needed a break, so I simply observed the sea, took a deep breath and let myself be carried away by the calmness of the environment.
Aproveché la oportunidad para tomarme un tiempo en la playa, justo enfrente del hotel. La vista era espectacular y me pareció el lugar perfecto para relajarme y meditar un rato. La semana había sido bastante intensa y necesitaba una pausa, así que simplemente me dediqué a observar el mar, respirar profundamente y dejarme llevar por la calma del entorno.
After a while, my husband and I decided to walk a little further along the beach, walking a stretch where we could see the emerald palm trees that adorn the landscape. Although the sea had little swell, some people were encouraged to swim and enjoy the warm weather of the island. It was a perfect setting, full of tranquility and natural beauty.
Luego de un rato, mi esposo y yo decidimos caminar un poco más por la playa, recorriendo un tramo donde pudimos ver las esmeraldas palmeras que adornan el paisaje. Aunque el mar tenía poco oleaje, algunas personas se animaban a bañarse y disfrutar del clima cálido de la isla. Era un escenario perfecto, lleno de tranquilidad y belleza natural.
From the beach I could also admire the Guayamurí hill, a wonderful spectacle that at that moment was being caressed by the clouds. Its image was so impressive that I decided to capture it with my camera, as it looked like a natural painting created by the sky and the earth. There is nothing like the combination of the sea, the palm trees and the imposing hill to connect with nature and feel at peace.
Desde la playa también pude admirar el cerro Guayamurí, un espectáculo maravilloso que en ese momento estaba siendo acariciado por las nubes. Su imagen era tan impresionante que decidí capturarla con mi cámara, pues parecía una pintura natural creada por el cielo y la tierra. No hay nada como la combinación del mar, las palmeras y el imponente cerro para conectar con la naturaleza y sentirse en paz.
After enjoying this moment, we set out to return home.
