Hello everyone. We are already on the last day of the week and I want to wish you a great weekend, full of rest and above all a lot of joy.
Today I want to tell you how my working day went yesterday at the Sunsol chain. On this occasion, I had to go to Sunsol Ecolam, a hotel that is quite far away, in the municipality of Gómez, so visits there are less frequent compared to other hotels in the chain. Despite the distance, I always enjoy this trip, as the road is surrounded by mountains and has enchanting landscapes that make the journey a rewarding experience. The weather was excellent, although, as I have told you in other publications, the heat is strong but it is completely normal in this region.
Hola a todos. Ya estamos en el último día de la semana y quiero desearles un fin de semana genial, lleno de descanso y sobre todo mucha alegría.
Hoy quiero contarles cómo fue mi jornada de trabajo ayer en la cadena Sunsol. En esta ocasión, tuve que dirigirme hasta Sunsol Ecolam, un hotel que queda bastante distante, en el municipio Gómez, por lo que las visitas allí son menos frecuentes en comparación con otros hoteles de la cadena. A pesar de la distancia, siempre disfruto este viaje, ya que la carretera está rodeada de montañas y tiene paisajes encantadores que hacen que el trayecto sea una experiencia gratificante. El clima era excelente, aunque, como les he comentado en otras publicaciones, el calor es fuerte pero viene siendo algo completamente normal en esta región.
My husband accompanied me throughout the entire tour, which was a great support. He is focused on helping me with my hand recovery, and at the same time, he wants to make sure that I can fulfill my work responsibilities smoothly. For us, seriousness and commitment are core values, so we always give our best in every task.
The work I had to do at Sunsol Ecolam was not too complicated; I just had to do a general check-up, and fortunately, everything was running smoothly. Knowing that things were in order was a relief and allowed me to enjoy the rest of the day even more.
Mi esposo me acompañó durante todo el recorrido, lo cual fue un gran apoyo. Él está enfocado en ayudarme con mi recuperación de la mano, y al mismo tiempo, quiere asegurarse de que pueda cumplir con mis responsabilidades laborales sin contratiempos. Para nosotros, la seriedad y el compromiso son valores fundamentales, por lo que siempre damos lo mejor en cada tarea.
El trabajo que debía realizar en Sunsol Ecolam no era demasiado complicado; solo tenía que hacer un chequeo general, y afortunadamente, todo marchaba perfectamente. Saber que las cosas estaban en orden fue un alivio y me permitió disfrutar aún más del resto del día.
As we were already close to the municipality of Marcano we decided to get to Juangriego, to take advantage of the occasion and make a stop to relax a little. We headed to the coast and had a refreshment in front of the sea. It is a privilege to be able to enjoy this beauty and feel the sea breeze; it is a gift that the island offers us, at every moment because there is always a little piece of sea nearby.
Como ya estábamos cerca del municipio Marcano decidimos llegarnos a Juangriego, para aprovechar la ocasión y hacer una parada para relajarnos un poco. Nos dirigimos a la costa y tomamos un refresco frente al mar. Es un privilegio poder disfrutar de esta belleza y sentir la brisa del mar; es un regalo que la isla nos ofrece, en cada momento porque siempre hay cerca un pedacito de mar.
After refreshing ourselves, we went to walk along the Juangriego promenade. This place has a special charm, and as its name suggests, it is presented with large decorated letters that give it a very distinctive touch.
Después de refrescarnos, fuimos a recorrer el paseo de Juangriego. Este lugar tiene un encanto especial, y como su nombre lo indica, se presenta con grandes letras decoradas que le dan un toque muy distintivo.
There we saw a bust of Luisa Cáceres de Arismendi, a tribute to a woman who played a fundamental role in the history of Venezuela.
Allí pudimos apreciar un busto de Luisa Cáceres de Arismendi, un homenaje a una mujer que tuvo un papel fundamental en la historia de Venezuela.
I was also surprised to find an imposing statue of General Juan Bautista Arismendi, placed in the center of a square that bears his name. It was the first time I had seen a representation of him holding binoculars in one hand and a sword in the other. Although the force of the sea has wreaked some havoc on the sculpture, leaving only the hilt of the sword, it still remains an impressive monument.
También me sorprendió encontrar una estatua imponente del general Juan Bautista Arismendi, colocada en el centro de una plaza que lleva su nombre. Era la primera vez que veía una representación de él sosteniendo unos prismáticos en una mano y una espada en la otra. Aunque la fuerza del mar ha hecho algunos estragos en la escultura, dejando solo la empuñadura de la espada, aún así sigue siendo un monumento impresionante.
The whole promenade is very well kept; from its monuments to its beautiful lamps, you can see the effort to keep the place in optimal conditions. It is really charming and perfect to spend some time before heading back.
Todo el paseo está muy bien cuidado; desde sus monumentos hasta sus hermosas lámparas, se nota el esfuerzo por mantener el lugar en óptimas condiciones. Es realmente encantador y perfecto para pasar un rato antes de emprender el regreso.
After having enjoyed this visit, we headed back home with the peace of mind of having completed our work and the satisfaction of having lived an enriching and unique experience in Juangriego.
Después de haber disfrutado de esta visita, nos dirigimos de vuelta a casa con la tranquilidad de haber cumplido con el trabajo y la satisfacción de haber vivido una experiencia enriquecedora y única en Juangriego.
