Dear hives, nothing better to start my week being by the sea.
As I told you in another post, our allergies are a bit altered and there is nothing better for a quick improvement than sitting very close to the sea to breathe fresh air, free of pollution. The sound of the waves and the sea breeze fill us with energy and relief.
To fulfill what I told you before, we left for Guacuco after resting our lunch. The day was very sunny and for us it was excellent. We love to take advantage of these bright days to be outdoors and enjoy the natural environment that I love so much.
To go to Guacuco beach, we went through a sector called Chinquirito. The truth is that I did not know it, I just asked a local how the area was called and he told me. The sector had beautiful urban and natural landscapes. The beautiful green palm trees together with the picturesque houses created a charming atmosphere.
Queridos hives, nada mejor para comenzar mi semana estando junto al mar.
Como en otra publicación le conté, andamos con las alergias un poco alteradas y nada mejor para una pronta mejoría que sentarnos muy cerca del mar para respirar aire fresco, libre de contaminación. El sonido de las olas y la brisa marina nos llenan de energía y alivio.
Para cumplir con lo que les comenté antes, salimos rumbo a Guacuco después de reposar nuestro almuerzo. El día estuvo muy soleado y para nosotros fue excelente. Nos encanta aprovechar estos días brillantes para estar al aire libre y disfrutar del entorno natural que tanto me agrada.
Para dirigirnos a la playa Guacuco, fuimos por un sector llamado Chinquirito. La verdad es que no lo conocía, solo le pregunté a un lugareño cómo se llamaba la zona y me dijo. El sector se veía con unos paisajes urbanos y naturales hermosos. Las palmeras verdes y hermosas junto con las casas pintorescas creaban una atmósfera encantadora.
We continued our way to Guacuco, not with the idea of taking a swim because the waters of this beach are a bit cold due to the fact that they are oceanic waters and have a lot of waves ideal for surfing. Besides, the sea breeze was what we were really looking for to improve our allergies and enjoy a clean environment.
We passed by the desalination plant and arrived at the beach club which is currently not active, but it is ideal to sit and watch the sea, also enjoy the sea air and the slender coconut trees causing a sense of peace and tranquility.
Continuamos nuestro camino para llegar a Guacuco, no con la idea de darnos un baño porque las aguas de esta playa son un poco frías debido a que son aguas oceánicas y tienen mucho oleaje ideal para surfear. Además, la brisa marina era lo que realmente buscábamos para mejorar nuestras alergias y disfrutar de un ambiente limpio.
Pasamos por la planta desalinizadora y llegamos al club de playa que en estos momentos no está activo, pero es ideal para sentarse y ver el mar, también disfrutar del aire marino y las esbeltos cocoteros causando una sensación de paz y tranquilidad.
This place is a little quieter, the vast majority of swimmers prefer the part of the kiosks that is more crowded and there are excellent offers of food and drink. But since we did not intend to go for a swim today, we prefer the quieter areas of Guacuco. We love to find these serene corners where we can relax without the hustle and bustle of the crowds.
Este lugar es un poco más tranquilo, la gran mayoría de los bañistas prefieren la parte de los kioscos que es más concurrida y hay excelentes ofertas de comida y bebida. Pero como no pretendíamos hoy darnos un baño, preferimos las zonas más tranquilas de Guacuco. Nos encanta encontrar estos rincones serenos donde podemos relajarnos sin el bullicio de las multitudes.
During our stay, we walked along the entire coastline bordering the beach from the road without going downhill because from there we could enjoy the air and its excellent views.
En nuestra estancia, caminamos por todo el litoral bordeando la playa desde la carretera sin bajar ya que desde ahí podíamos disfrutar del aire y sus excelentes vistas.
We were able to see that new ecological constructions are being built along the coast, which is a great step towards sustainability. It gives me joy and pleasure that the new constructions near the sea are being built with the environment in mind. Everyone, little by little, is becoming aware of preserving and polluting the beaches as little as possible with so much concrete. It is gratifying to see how the community is uniting to protect our natural resources.
Pudimos apreciar que están haciendo nuevas construcciones ecológicas por el litoral, lo cual es un gran paso hacia la sostenibilidad. Me da alegría y placer que ya las nuevas construcciones que se hacen cerca del mar sean pensando en el medio ambiente. Todos, poco a poco, están tomando conciencia de preservar y contaminar lo menos posible con tanto hormigón las playas. Es gratificante ver cómo la comunidad se une para proteger nuestros recursos naturales.
After filling our lungs with sea air and being distracted by Guacuco's beautiful beach scenery, we returned before sunset, appreciating the excellent landscapes that nature had to show us. The colors of the sunset painted the sky with warm tones and the shadows of the palm trees stretched across the landscape, creating a truly magical scene.
Después de llenar nuestros pulmones de aire de mar y distraernos con el paisaje playero hermoso de Guacuco, nos regresamos antes de que terminara de caer la tarde, apreciando los excelentes paisajes que la naturaleza tenía para mostrarnos. Los colores del atardecer pintaban el cielo con tonos cálidos y las sombras de las palmeras se alargaban en los paisajes, creando una escena verdaderamente mágica.
