Today I want to share a little bit of my weekend with you, which, although busy with work, also had its moments of beauty. Sometimes, even in the midst of the hustle and bustle of work, there are moments to appreciate the beauty that surrounds us.
Today I will be able to rest a little, although not completely, as work continues to call. Work responsibilities never stop, especially when tourists arrive and hotels require special attention. For this reason, although I intended to disconnect a little, several hotels requested measurements and quality records, so I had to postpone my long-awaited rest. The good thing is that all work has its rewards, and in this case, that translated into better revenue. So, although tired, I ended up feeling grateful.
Early in the morning, my husband and I headed to the Wyndham hotel, where they were waiting for us to take the required measurements. We left in good spirits, radiant like the weather and ready to fulfill our responsibilities. The sky was really beautiful, perfect for taking pictures. So I took the opportunity to capture some moments, immortalizing the beauty that surrounded us. Those little moments of contemplation make everything look more beautiful.
Hola queridos hives, espero que todos se encuentren muy bien, llenos de energía positiva y disfrutando su domingo. Hoy quiero compartirles un pequeño pedacito de mi fin de semana, que aunque estuvo cargado de trabajo, también tuvo sus momentos de belleza. A veces, incluso en medio del trajín laboral, quedan instantes para apreciar la belleza que nos rodea.
Hoy podré descansar un poco, aunque no completamente, ya que el trabajo sigue llamando. Las responsabilidades laborales no paran, especialmente cuando se reciben turistas y los hoteles requieren atención especial. Por esta razón, aunque tenía la intención de desconectarse un poco, varios hoteles solicitaron mediciones y registros de calidad, así que tuve que posponer el tan anhelado descanso. Lo bueno es que todo trabajo trae su recompensa, y en este caso, eso se tradujo en una mejor facturación. Así que, aunque cansada, terminé sintiéndome agradecida.
Desde muy temprano, mi esposo y yo nos dirigimos al hotel Wyndham, donde nos esperaban para hacer las mediciones requeridas. Salimos con buen ánimo, radiantes como el clima y listos para cumplir con nuestras responsabilidades. El cielo estaba realmente hermoso, perfecto para tomar fotografías. Así que aproveché para capturar algunos momentos, inmortalizando la belleza que nos rodeaba. Esos pequeños instantes de contemplación hacen ver todo más hermoso.
After finishing that first work commitment, we decided to cross town to find out the prices of batteries for our son's motorcycle. The one he currently has is problematic and frequently runs out of power, which is a clear sign that it is nearing the end of its useful life. Although it may seem like a simple task, it took us time to look for options, compare prices, and try to find something that fit our budget without compromising on quality.
Luego de terminar ese primer compromiso laboral, decidimos atravesar la ciudad para averiguar precios de baterías para la moto de nuestro hijo. La que tiene actualmente da problemas y se descarga con frecuencia, lo que es señal clara de que ya está en sus últimos días de vida útil. Aunque pueda parecer una tarea sencilla, nos tomó tiempo buscar opciones, comparar precios y tratar de encontrar algo que se adaptara a nuestro presupuesto sin perder calidad.
The heat in the city was intense, almost suffocating. With one more visit to the Sunsol Unik hotel left, we decided to take a short break and go into the Ecocenter Shopping Mall. There, we took the opportunity to visit the market and cool off a bit. We had a cold soda, which was a great relief in the oppressive heat.
El calor en la ciudad estaba intenso, casi sofocante. Cuando aún nos quedaba una visita al hotel Sunsol Unik, decidimos hacer una pequeña pausa y entrar al Centro Comercial Ecocenter. Allí aprovechamos para pasar por el mercado y refrescarnos un poco. Tomamos una soda bien fría, que fue como un gran alivio en medio del calor agobiante.
With renewed energy after a short break, we resumed our journey to Sunsol Unik to continue with water quality measurements and checks. This type of work requires a lot of attention to detail, but it also provides a certain satisfaction knowing that we are helping to maintain standards and ensure the well-being of visitors. We ended the day with the comforting feeling of having done things right.
Con energías renovadas tras el descanso breve, retomamos el camino hacia el Sunsol Unik para continuar con las mediciones y verificaciones de calidad de las aguas. Este tipo de trabajo requiere mucha atención al detalle, pero también brinda cierta satisfacción al saber que estamos contribuyendo a mantener los estándares y a garantizar el bienestar de los visitantes. Terminamos la jornada con la sensación reconfortante de haber hecho las cosas bien.
With all our commitments fulfilled, we set off on our return home. Although it had been a busy day, the satisfaction of completing our tasks left a positive impression. We love these moments, shared as a couple, facing each day together, making everything flow better. We hope that Sunday will give us the opportunity to rest a little more and recharge our batteries for a new week.
