Greetings, dear hives. This week has been busy, but much more relaxed compared to previous weeks. I have taken some time to focus on important tasks, but without undue pressure. Today, in particular, was a day I decided to dedicate exclusively to Sunsol Isla Caribe, located just beyond Playa El Tirano.
I started my tour early in the morning, knowing that I had several things to resolve. Mainly, I needed to get some medicine for my father, whose well-being is one of my top priorities. In addition, I needed to accompany my husband to the center, as we had an issue to resolve regarding our car. With these goals in mind, I prepared for an active but productive day.
One of the things I enjoy most when I have to visit Sunsol Isla Caribe is the drive there. The drive is a visual treat, as I have to skirt several beaches. These seascapes are not only beautiful, but also revitalizing. There is something about the salty sea air and the sound of the waves that has a calming effect on me.
Arriving at Playa El Tirano and feeling the sea breeze on my face, I momentarily forgot the intensity of the heat and the sun's rays.
Mis saludos, queridos hives. Esta semana ha sido de trabajo, pero mucho más relajada comparada con semanas anteriores. Me he tomado un tiempo para centrarme en tareas importantes, pero sin presión excesiva. Hoy, en particular, fue un día que decidí dedicar exclusivamente al Sunsol Isla Caribe, ubicado más allá de Playa El Tirano.
Comencé mi recorrido temprano en la mañana, sabiendo que tenía varias cosas pendientes por resolver. Principalmente, debía conseguir algunas medicinas para mi padre, cuyo bienestar es una de mis mayores prioridades. Además, necesitaba acompañar a mi esposo al centro, ya que teníamos un asunto por resolver relacionado con nuestro carro. Con estos objetivos en mente, me preparé para un día activo pero productivo.
Una de las cosas que más disfruto cuando tengo que visitar Sunsol Isla Caribe es el trayecto hasta allí. El recorrido es un regalo visual, ya que debo bordear varias playas. Estos paisajes marítimos no solo son hermosos, sino también revitalizadores. Hay algo en el aire salado del mar y el sonido de las olas que tiene un efecto calmante en mi.
Al llegar a Playa El Tirano y sentir la brisa marina en mi rostro, olvidé momentáneamente la intensidad del calor y los rayos del sol.
It was as if nature itself was welcoming me and encouraging me to enjoy the present.
Era como si la naturaleza misma me diera la bienvenida y me animara a disfrutar del presente.
Since there are no longer as many tourists at this time of year, the environment feels more peaceful and welcoming. This allowed me to make a few stops along the way, take photos and take deep breaths to connect with the natural beauty that surrounded me. It was a moment of gratitude and peace in the midst of a day full of errands.
Dado que ya no hay tantos turistas en esta época, el entorno se siente más tranquilo y acogedor. Esto me permitió hacer algunas paradas en el camino, tomar fotos y respirar profundamente para conectar con la belleza natural que me rodeaba. Fue un momento de gratitud y paz en medio de un día lleno de diligencias.
Upon arriving at my destination, I handed in the paperwork I needed to manage at Sunsol Isla Caribe. With that task accomplished, I made my way back to take care of the second objective of the day; to look for my father's medications. This errand, although simple on the surface, turned out to be a real challenge. My first stop was the Santa Rita pharmacy, where I usually shop and have always received excellent service. Although I only got one of the medications there, I knew I could trust them to locate what I needed. Still, I decided to search for the missing medication on my own.
Al llegar a mi destino, entregué las actas que necesitaba gestionar en Sunsol Isla Caribe. Con esa tarea cumplida, tomé el camino de regreso para ocuparme del segundo objetivo del día; buscar los medicamentos de mi padre. Este encargo, aunque simple en apariencia, resultó ser un verdadero reto. Mi primera parada fue la farmacia Santa Rita, donde usualmente compro y siempre he recibido un servicio excelente. Aunque solo conseguí uno de los medicamentos allí, sabía que podía confiar en ellos para localizar lo que necesitaba. Aun así, decidí buscar por mi cuenta el medicamento faltante.
My search took me to the city of Porlamar, where I finally found what I was looking for. It was a great relief to know that my father would have everything he needed to continue his treatment next month.
Although the sky looked cloudy at times during my journey, my spirits did not diminish. In fact, I felt radiant and excited that I had managed to complete this important task. The peace of mind I felt was great.
Mi búsqueda me llevó a la ciudad de Porlamar, donde finalmente encontré lo que buscaba. Fue un gran alivio saber que mi padre tendría todo lo necesario para continuar su tratamiento el próximo mes.
Aunque el cielo se veía nublado durante momentos de mi trayecto, mi ánimo no disminuyó. De hecho, me sentía radiante y emocionada de haber logrado completar esta importante tarea. La tranquilidad mental que sentí fue genial.
Finally, with all the tasks accomplished, we headed home. During the drive, I couldn't help but continue to admire the urban and natural landscape that always surprises me on this beautiful island. There is something very special about the way the environment combines the modern and the traditional, the natural and the man-made.
Con los medicamentos en mano, mi siguiente parada fue encontrarme con mi esposo en la Casa de la Guaya. Nuestro carro había presentado un problema con la guaya del coche, y necesitábamos resolverlo cuanto antes. Fue reconfortante saber que ambos estábamos alineados en resolver las tareas del día de manera eficiente y colaborativa.
Finally, with all the tasks accomplished, we headed home. During the drive, I couldn't help but continue to admire the urban and natural landscape that always surprises me on this beautiful island. There is something very special about the way the environment combines the modern and the traditional, the natural and the man-made.
Finalmente, con todas las tareas cumplidas, nos dirigimos a casa. Durante el trayecto, no pude evitar seguir admirando el paisaje urbano y natural que siempre me sorprende en esta hermosa isla. Hay algo muy especial en la forma en que el entorno combina lo moderno y lo tradicional, lo natural y lo construido por el hombre.
Upon arriving home, we set out to rest and recharge our batteries for the next day's work. It was a long but rewarding day, full of little moments that reminded me of the beauty of everyday life and the mutual support when we work together.
