Mom's electric fan of almost 20 years finally gave out and now needs a replacement. I remember that electric fan being used in the bakery to cool down the bread so that we could pack it faster. And then after using it, we'll bring it back upstairs to where our bedroom was to use it during the night. I was still a kid back then, it's just amazing that we've been able to use it for so long. Mom is very good at maintaining her things. She regularly cleans this electric fan, like once or twice a month. And even though it has gone through a lot of repair and some parts got a replacement, they're still able to use it just until last week.
Before buying a new one, we brought it to a repairman first to see if they could still repair it. Mom really doesn't want to let it go yet, lol. Unfortunately, it's impossible now because there are parts of it that are hard to find now. So Mom has no other choice but to take it down and let it rest for good. Mom is sad because she has a lot of great memories with it. She's always like that when the things she works hard to get just stop functioning. Her attachment to those things shows often. But yeah, no choice but to really buy a new one.

So last Monday, Mommy F decided to go to the nearest pickup shop where we can find an electric fan. There's just one brand in mind when we planned this, it's called Eureka. That's the brand Mama's been using. We also have this brand of electric fan that Mom brought for their room, naman. And it's good, so she wants the same brand nalang. And this is us walking in this raging weather. Mom had to come even if her legs were in pain due to arthritis. She's the one buying, so she wants to choose the electric fan that she wants.

We started looking around immediately after arriving here. There are a lot of kinds of electric fans here, in different sizes and styles too.

Aside from the stand fan, they also have this kind of fan. But Mom won't think of buying those, haha. We have had this kind before, and the oldies don't like it.

They also have the tall Electric Fan, and with different brands too, from Germani and NSS. But they have more Eureka brand than these brands.

Aside from the clip-like electric fan, they also have that "rota aire" as the oldies call it. That's the e-fan I'm currently using, that color white.

So while Mom's looking for the e-fan she wants, I, on the other hand, am busy admiring these cute mini e-fans, lol. They are too cute, kids would surely love to have them. But I doubt they'll be good for long-term use. Seeing their price, I'm sure this won't even last an hour for single use. But really, they are cuteeeee!

In the end, Mom chose this one. It has a bigger head, it's not that tall, but it can be adjusted. Upon trying it, it has a nice and strong wind, especially number 3. And because we can't bring this one home, we asked some boy to deliver it to our home. It's not that far, so we're glad they deliver it to us.

After accompanying Mommy F to the pickup shop to buy a new fan, after going home, I then went to the market with Mama to buy ingredients. I'm craving something soupy, but I can't think of what vegetable to get, I have nothing in my mind that time, lol.

We just roam around the market first to check, and look what's happening in the market now. The perfectly fine road getting wrecked. Hah! This usually happens during election time (╥﹏╥).

Anyways, after roaming around in the market, I decided to just buy half a kilo of chicken again. I also bought a mix of veggies with carrots, chayote, cabbage, and pechay baguio. It's 15 pesos for one bag, so I bought two bags. This kind of mixed veggies is good for Pancit Guisado, a ready-made one, you don't have to cut them anymore because they're already cut. Aside from Pancit, this is also good in other recipes, just like this one. So yeah, this is for lunch. <( ̄︶ ̄)↗.
