El término «Trabajar en la web 1», lo conocí por medio de mi amiga virtual @marybellrg y sentí propicio para este post. Es que trabajar en nuestras labores cotidianas y/o trabajos «normales», se lo podría encasillar como la web 1.

Antes de echarle el cuento debo aclarar y siendo coherente con lo que pregono, con respecto a la exclusividad al ecosistema de Hive, que generaré muchos contenidos con respecto a este evento en otras plataformas, ya que soy parte del evento organizador y por supuesto precisan que promocionen dicha empresa por todas de plataformas. Por supuesto, el contenido que compartiré aquí es exclusivo para Hive, con la debida autorización de mis compañeros de vida “El Ciclón de Ezeiza”.

Before I tell you the story, I must clarify and being coherent with what I say, regarding the exclusivity to the Hive ecosystem, that I will generate a lot of content regarding this event on other platforms, since I am part of the event organizer and of course they need to promote the company on all platforms. Of course, the content I will share here is exclusive to Hive, with the due authorization of my life partners "El Ciclón de Ezeiza".
El evento de Abbott, como les comente en otros post, fue suspendido en una oportunidad. Ese detalle dio pie a que se aumente la promoción y por ende la afluencia de participantes fue muy superior a lo esperado. Dos eventos en un mismo día (Trail Running y Rural Bike). El Ciclón de Ezeiza, en esta ocasión, no tenía representantes para el running, motivo por el cual, nadie iría temprano al evento. Lo que me obligo a levantarme muy temprano y juntamente con mi amigo Germán, fuimos hasta Máximo Paz (localidad distante 20 km aproximadamente de Ezeiza), para subir a un colectivo de la empresa, que nos llevaría hasta Abbott. El detalle fue que levantarse tan temprano y pedalear a las 4 am, requiere de mucha voluntad. Frío, calor pedaleando, luego mucho frío nuevamente. Pero bien, llegamos a Abbott y nos dispusimos a trabajar. Mi función: Ser de liebre para los corredores de 3 km y luego ya me quede libre, solamente para generar contenidos del evento (capturas de deportistas, entrevistas y demás).
! [English]The Abbott event, as I mentioned in other posts, was suspended on one occasion. That detail gave rise to increase the promotion and therefore the influx of participants was much higher than expected. Two events in the same day (Trail Running and Rural Bike). The Ezeiza Cyclone, on this occasion, had no representatives for running, which is why no one would go early to the event. This forced me to get up very early and together with my friend Germán, we went to Máximo Paz (a town approximately 20 km away from Ezeiza), to get on a bus of the company, which would take us to Abbott. The detail was that getting up so early and pedaling at 4 am, requires a lot of will. Cold, hot pedaling, then very cold again. But well, we arrived in Abbott and set to work. My role: To be the hare for the 3 km runners and then I was free, only to generate content for the event (captures of athletes, interviews and so on).
El día anterior, el amigo Trejo fue a reservar un lugar para almorzar junto al grupo El Ciclón de Ezeiza (no me prendí al almuerzo, porque sinceramente debía trabajar). Pero el grupo estuvo presente y lo pasaron como corresponde, muy bien. En la entrada del lugar, me encontré con unos viejos amigos del ciclismo que estaban vendiendo miel casera. Me dio mucha ternura verlos juntos, disfrutando del sol de la mañana, esperando el asado de Trejo y vendiendo sus productos artesanales. Estos eventos generan movimientos en las localidades donde se realizan. ¡Es genial!
! [English]The day before, our friend Trejo went to reserve a place for lunch with the group El Ciclón de Ezeiza (I didn't go to lunch, because I had to work). But the group was there and they had a great time. At the entrance of the place, I met some old cycling friends who were selling homemade honey. I was very tender to see them together, enjoying the morning sun, waiting for Trejo's asado and selling their handmade products. These events generate movement in the localities where they are held. It's great!
Esperando a los corredores, me encuentro con una amiga fotógrafa, quien me regala la captura que antecede. Los GIF son de los primeros ciclistas en llegar y por supuesto Gonzalo (la mejor carta del Ciclón de Ezeiza), entro tercero en la general y primero en su categoría. Estuvo a nada de ganar la general. En el último kilómetro se les fueron los ciclistas, que por cierto venían trabajando en equipo. Gonzalo venía solo y es por eso que es un gran logro para él.

Waiting for the riders, I meet a photographer friend of mine, who gives me the above picture. The GIFs are of the first cyclists to arrive and of course Gonzalo (the best card of the Ciclón de Ezeiza), came in third overall and first in his category. He came within a hair's breadth of winning the overall. In the last kilometer the cyclists, who by the way had been working as a team, went away. Gonzalo came alone and that is why it is a great achievement for him.
Por supuesto estuve pendiente de mi amigo Alejandro que debutaba en el ciclismo Rural Bike. Lo vi muy poco, pero sabía que estaba entrenado y mientras no se caiga, haría una gran carrera. Y así fue, entro 11 en su categoría de más de 30 participantes. Estaba más que feliz y por supuesto con toda la energía para próximas carreras.

Of course I was watching my friend Alejandro who was making his debut in Rural Bike cycling. I saw him very little, but I knew he was trained and as long as he didn't fall, he would have a great race. And so it was, he entered 11th in his category of more than 30 participants. He was more than happy and of course with all the energy for the next races.
Si algo debo destacar de los ganadores y no solamente del ciclismo, es su humildad. Gonzalo es una gran persona y siempre está dispuesto a entregar lo mejor. En el grupo lo conocemos desde niño prácticamente y vimos su evolución en esta disciplina deportiva. Cuando fui a saludarlo, me dice “Marce, me alegra verte así, está poniéndote en forma”. Él es vegano y cuando ve personas que intentan mantenerse en forma, los motiva con sus palabras y por supuesto con su ejemplo. Me envió un libro en PDF, que habla sobre nutrición para ciclistas, espero pronto poder leerlo.

If there is one thing I must highlight about the winners, and not only in cycling, it is their humility. Gonzalo is a great person and is always willing to give his best. In the group we have known him practically since he was a child and we have seen his evolution in this sport discipline. When I went to greet him, he told me "Marce, I'm glad to see you like this, he's getting in shape". He is a vegan and when he sees people trying to keep fit, he motivates them with his words and of course with his example. He sent me a book in PDF, which talks about nutrition for cyclists, I hope to read it soon.
Estuve trabajando detrás de escena y si bien tiene sus peculiariedades que me gustan, debo confesar que deseaba inmensamente poder estar compitiendo. Espero pronto estar contando mis experiencias sobre la bicicleta y con el maillot de Hive en mi pecho “Así será”.
