The sun is up, and so are we.
The sky was bright when my husband invited me to go outside. It's still early, so spending a little time outside is one of the best ways to take a moment.
As we arrived at the ricefield, the sun's gentle glow began.
The world was painted in soft hues of orange and gold. And the air was cool and fresh.
I can smell the earthy scent, and hear the joyful chirping of birds.
I also noticed the dewdrops on the blades of grass glisten like a thousand tiny diamonds.
As I capture this, I can't help but pause and appreciate the beauty surrounding me.
I wouldn't have noticed how beautiful this was if I hadn't taken a chance to intricate the details of the ricefield.
Good thing I did!
I also saw a tiny spider stirred in its cozy web.
He also woke up early stretching his eight delicate legs. Too busy weaving between the tall stalks of rice.
Everything was so beautiful.
Good thing I let myself slow down and savor the moment.
Sometimes in life, we forget to appreciate the world around us. But now I realize how important it is to take that time.
To breathe, to be balanced, and to enjoy my mornings.
As a mom, sometimes I forget to slow down. To appreciate the outdoors, to enjoy my meals, and to pay attention to other people.
But this early morning visit to the ricefield is a wake-up call for me.
That I also need time to appreciate nature. Because it's soothing, it's enjoyable, and it's my way to breathe.
Until our next nature moment... Buh-bye. 👋🌷
