We decided to break the routine and enjoy art at a large fair dedicated to mothers, take a walk through a park in Vedado, and finish with a delicious ice cream at my favorite ice cream shop.
Every year in May, the Art for Mom fair is held on Línea and 18th Street. It's a very important event because it brings together Cuban artisans, artists from all fields—in short, a place where the most authentic art comes together.
I like to visit it to contemplate the works of art. There we can find all kinds of objects to decorate the house, including furniture, clothing, handmade shoes, and household items. The best thing of all is that each object is unique, created by the artisans' hands, which gives it great value.
I loved the candles with beautiful designs, the wooden furniture, and the handmade lamps; I always love them.
At the leather goods stand, we see how they make belts. We can choose the color of the belt and match it with the buckle we like, and they make it and adjust it to the customer's body. It's a job that requires a lot of dedication to ensure the customer leaves satisfied.
The florist's floral arrangements are beautiful, making a lovely gift for mothers, a thoughtful gift we all appreciate.
When we left the fair, we were craving some delicious ice cream, so we walked through the quiet streets of Vedado to our favorite ice cream shop.
During our walk, we sat down to rest under the cool shade of the trees in a beautiful park located on 15th and 16th Streets. I truly felt like I was in a small paradise filled with greenery and calm. I love silence and enjoy it very much, a perfect environment to unwind and rest.
After resting, we continued on our way and arrived at the DelaCrem ice cream shop located at 23rd and 12th Streets, where the ice cream is very creamy and of excellent quality. They have a variety of flavors, many new and exotic, as well as traditional ones.
Every time I visit, I order a different flavor and am always amazed by its quality and exquisite taste. I also like to order it in a cone because it's also delicious.
Since they have new flavors, the girl who serves the ice cream lets you try any flavor you want with a spoon, so you can order it without fear of not liking it. But honestly, I've loved every ice cream I've tried, haha.
This time, I ordered cheesecake ice cream. Wow, how delicious! I loved this flavor. We also ordered some sweet treats, which are also delicious.
Another thing I like about this ice cream shop is that while I enjoy the ice cream, I can laugh while watching the comedy shows they always show on their televisions.
I truly relax, and I leave feeling refreshed and happy for having had a wonderful time.
If you ever visit Vedado, be sure to visit its parks, fairs, and ice cream shops. I assure you, you'll be recharged with positive energy.

Un día perfecto: arte, naturaleza y sabor
Decidimos romper la rutina y disfrutar del arte en una gran Feria dedicada a las madres, dar un paseo por un parque en el Vedado y finalizar con un sabroso helado en mi heladería favorita.
Todos los años en el mes de mayo se celebra la feria de Arte Para Mamá en la calle Línea y 18 en el Vedado habanero. Es un evento muy importante porque reúne artesanos cubanos, artistas de todas las ramas, en fin, un lugar donde se reúne el Arte más genuino.
Me gusta visitarla para contemplar las obras de arte, ahí podemos encontrar todo tipo de objetos para decorar la casa, también muebles, ropa, zapatos artesanales y útiles para el hogar. Lo mejor de todo es que cada objeto es único, creado por las manos de los artesanos, lo cual le concede gran valor.
Me encantaron las velas con diseños muy bonitos, los muebles de madera, las lámparas artesanales siempre me gustan mucho.
En el stand de los artículos de cuero vemos cómo trabajan los cintos, podemos escoger el color del cinto y combinarlo con la hebilla que nos guste y ellos lo hacen y lo ajustan al cuerpo del cliente, es un trabajo con mucha dedicación para que el cliente salga complacido.
Los arreglos florales de la floristería son hermosos para hacer un lindo regalo a las madres, un detalle que a todas nos gusta.
Al salir de la feria teníamos deseos de tomar un delicioso helado y caminamos por las calles tranquilas del Vedado para ir a nuestra heladería favorita.
En nuestro paseo nos sentamos a descansar bajo la frescura que nos proporciona la sombra de los árboles de un hermoso parque que se encuentra en las calles 15 y 16. Realmente me sentí como estar en un pequeño paraíso lleno verdor y de calma, el silencio me apasiona y lo disfruto mucho, un ambiente perfecto para desconectar y descansar.
Después de descansar seguimos nuestro camino y llegamos a la heladería DelaCrem que se encuentra en 23 y 12, donde los helados son muy cremosos y de excelente calidad, tienen variedad de sabores, muchos nuevos y exóticos y también los sabores tradicionales.
Cada vez que la visito pido un sabor diferente y siempre quedo sorprendida de su calidad y su sabor exquisito. Me gusta además pedirlos en barquilla porque también es deliciosa.
Como tienen sabores nuevos, la muchacha que despacha el helado te da la posibilidad de probar con una cucharilla el sabor que quieras y así lo puedes pedir sin miedo de que no te guste, pero sinceramente cada helado que he probado me ha gustado jaja.
En esta ocasión pedí un helado de cheese cake ¡wao qué delicia! me encantó este sabor. Pedimos además unos dulces que también son exquisitos.
Otra de las características que me gusta de esta cremería es que mientras disfruto del helado puedo reír viendo programas humorísticos que siempre ponen en sus televisores, realmente paso un momento de relax, salgo renovada y feliz de haber pasado un momento muy agradable.
Si alguna vez pasas por el Vedado no dejes de visitar sus parques, sus ferias y sus heladerías, te aseguro que te recargarás de energías positivas.
