On a Friday morning, I walked my daughters to school. It was a very fine day despite being so late for school. Glad I kept my cool, school nowadays is not that strict like we had in our time. At7:15 whne I was still an elementary student, all kids are already inside the school campus, some are cleaning the lawn but most of them are inside thier respective rooms.
Today, it's okay for kids to arrive at school at 7:30 and some teachers makes free time for hilding flag ceremony in their classrooms.
Anyway, that's not my topic for this blog. That lovely Friday morning, I saw a 6th grade student bringing her TLE project to submit to scho. She had her little sister with her and I and my daughters literally ran to see the tiny house she had been holding.
My daughter @eylii had been wanting to make a tiny house just like we saw, made of popsicle sticks, binded by a hot glue but I was not yet able to realize it because I think she is atill. Too young to hold a hot glue gun. Bjt taht day, my mind was changed, I thinkkt will. Be okay for her to do it as long as she is supervised.
I remembered when I tried to make a popsicle house, I did not have a glue gun and my work is dirty because everytime I burn the glue stick, it turns black and smudges on the tiny wood. I guess today will be better because glue guns can easily be bought anywhere.
The little girl was flattered when we appreciatd her work that she allowed me to take a picture of it. She was even shy. The tiny house had a small plywood for its foundation and lots of glue stick binded the Popsicle sticks inside. It was an amazing work of art.
There was even a small bed made of popsicle sticks inside what seems to be a bed room and plants hanging on its fence. I really wondered what the other side's surprise might have but I hesitated because her project might fall whne she turn it around for me.
I was very glad to have caught her priceless reaction whne I appreciated her work, and was glad to make her day.
My daughter in the other hand had been thinking of the design she will make and we said a fairy might love on the house that she will make.
Have you ever made such a tiny house before?
