Those are lovely pictures. My Mom also grows that kind of flowering plant. She said talking to plants encourages them to bloom - or it's the other way around. I remember a scene in an Indian movie where someone mentioned the Solomon Islands: if people there want to kill a tree, they will form a circle around it and curse it . Eventually it dies. Similarly, if they say encouraging words , the tree thrives. I guess the same goes for flowering plants.
