A cold December Morning

‎AssalamuAlaikum & Greetings Everyone!

It's me @amjadsharif

‎I occasionally participate in the Daily Blog because I don't like to share my routine so much, but today the weather has changed a bit, winter has started since mid-December. Our area is known for agriculture and a lot of potatoes are grown here, so this crop needs a lot of water and due to this, the amount of moisture in the soil increases a lot, which causes fog and cold.

It is almost eight in the morning and I am going to drop the children to school. The distance from our village to the school is about three kilometers and we go to school by bike.

The cold and cold wind is making us feel cold. We have worn warm clothes to protect ourselves from the cold.

I have taken some pictures of the road and the surroundings here, in which you must have noticed that it is difficult to see at a distance of about eight to 10 feet near the fog because some shops in the surroundings are still closed.

You can also see a donkey that is suffering from this extreme cold. Its owner probably does not realize that the donkey also feels cold. To protect animals from the cold, it is always better to keep them in any shady and closed room warm place where the air circulation is very low or non-existent. Just as we feel cold, animals do too, but they cannot tell us.

Some bikes are passing in front of me who have turned on their headlights so that they can be seen due to the fog and avoid any accident. This is a good sign that drivers adopt and I am glad that we should be aware of all this.

‎Which I have to go around Chaursta Mia Khan twice, once to take the children to school and the second time to bring them back. The fog has not yet cleared. I am returning after dropping the children and I also took a selfie while riding the bike so that I can show you people what precautions I have taken to avoid the cold. Around me, you can see some cut trees and crops whose leaves look shriveled due to the cold.

Or while passing by the road, I was shown a ready-made guava stand on which a boy is raising his voice to sell guavas and telling me that guavas can be bought per kilo for Rs 200. I stopped and turned back to this year so that I could buy guavas. I asked him to weigh one kilo of guavas. They look quite clean and beautiful and are also sweet. I have also tested it.

As I told you about potatoes at the beginning of the blog, I saw a farmer watering the crop in the fields of the scholars and applying fertilizer etc. I stopped by him and made a picture to show you that due to this water the land does not become dry and causes fog.

I have often noticed that where the sorghum crop is grown, the intensity of the cold will increase and where there is a crop of sorghum or some other crop which requires very little water, you cannot feel the cold as much.

‎On my way back, I also took a selfie with my son as it has reduced a lot by now but there are still two of us and we are coming back on the bike in school uniform. I have taken off the helmet at this time and we have taken pictures while driving the bike.

At around 1 pm, while herding a flock of sheep and goats to an open area, their owners are taking them away, and in this picture, you can see a man riding a bicycle because bicycles are scarce, but despite the rising cost of living, people have started adopting this mode of transport again.

I would like to end today's block with this and I hope that you guys will like and share this post and you were told about your area and what is the situation of cold and fog there. I will wait for your reply.
