I think what bothers me most about the world at the moment is the fact that we have moved from a place where the default assumption was perhaps "trust but be careful," to a place where my default assumption (at least) has become that whatever I see and whatever I'm offered is either a scam or a deep fake and that's just my starting point.

I think it annoys me because while I believe in the whole "buyer beware" wisdom, I now have to waste so much time checking and double checking and verifying everything I come across that it's almost not worthwhile to even consider getting involved anymore.

And that's not bad just for me, or for investors, or for crypto, or for finance in the broader sense... it's bad for the world!
