A few years ago, we had more insulation blown into our attic. Not sure it helped much as the utility rates increased significantly over the last few years. So it is hard to tell. House does seem cooler though. Not sure if it is actually saving us anything money wise.

Insulation helps a lot and you may not see the result in the utility bills, because consumption is not the only influencing factor.
