RE: Why This Is A Mind Game

I don't really do resolutions either. When I started working out close to a decade ago I wanted it to be something that was part of my lifestyle, not a resolution that I would likely just let slide over time. I even started the process a couple months before the holidays, just to get in the habit. It's crazy how much portion control can impact our health. I know sometimes I eat way more cereal than the recommended serving.

Those who think a diet is just a diet are not going to make it. This has to be a lifestyle change, if you really want to reach your goals and change your life.

We agree on starting before the holidays is the best approach and guarantees results.

Eating a little more here and there is not the end of the world, if you don't make a habit out of it, so don't worry :)

It's already a habit. One I am trying to break slowly!

If you know it's not good, then you're halfway there :)
