Old "friends" are really hard to deal with from present you. Some of them do actually believe that just crossing paths with them means you're bounded to be together for a lifetime. What's sometimes funny to me is after years has passed and you meet them again and they act like nothing has changed lol.

some people get really attached to those they know,like I sometimes wish I go back to certain years and my friends also go back to those years because things are not the way it used to be again, their body change, their time and attention also change, adulthood comes with responsibilities which makes us have less time for dear ones... and it also makes us paranoid in a way but being paranoid is not bad, it keeps us safe.
