Bangladesh is a country of harmony where people of different races, religions, and castes live together. Most people in Bangladesh are Muslim, and many people of other religions live together peacefully. Our biggest identity is that we are Bangladeshis and we live with great respect and peace with our culture and people of different religions. Even though our country is home to people from different groups, including Hindus, Buddhists, Christians, and tribals, we are all moving forward together in great peace.
Today around noon, while I was going to an office job, I saw some Hindu people traveling to celebrate a religious event. I was so amazed by their outfits that I thought I would take some pictures of them. The most interesting thing was that they happily let me take pictures and happily posed for me in very nice poses. Here they have tried to portray various gods and goddesses of the Sanatan religion. I was delighted to see their outfits and was quite surprised that they were dressed perfectly. To be honest, this was the first time I saw such decorations up close and I spent quite a bit of time smiling with them. They helped me take pictures individually. It felt like they had known me for a long time. I am really grateful to them. They helped me a lot in taking pictures. Then I found out they were going to hold a ceremony at a puja pavilion right in front of my house. Then I planned to go to that puja mandap on my way back from the office and try to take pictures.
In this picture, you can see a prayer ceremony organized by followers of traditional religions. On my way back from the office, I thought I would visit the puja mandap and take some pictures. The event has been organized here with a large pandal decorated. Inside the pandal, the sounds of bhagdhol and sanai could be heard as they performed various rituals in a very beautiful manner. We are friends of each other communally and we highly appreciate these wonderful events.
Then I entered the puja mandap and tried to take pictures of the lighting. Then I saw that a friend of mine was there and he came forward and greeted me warmly and asked me to sit down. I saw their wonderful work there for quite some time and really enjoyed it. At the end of the day, we are all human and the same blood flows through us. We love each other and with this loving relationship, we want to move forward with people of all religions.
