Hello beautiful people. 'Choose your battles wisely' is one cliche on the lips of almost everybody. The few that never said it, at least, wished they had ways of selecting their own battles.
Apparently, If you were to choose your own battles, you would want to take on those you you win with the utmost ease. You want soft life, don't you? You wouldn't want to rise up everyday to the hardship around you, you wouldn't want to face the bills that keep piling up, you wouldn't want to go through the pain of been served breakfast, loss of a loved one, rejection, joblessness and stuffs like that.
On the contrary, life is unpredictable, and sometimes our greatest challenges come when we least expect them. That is when your battle chose you. You directly couldn't influence its not happening to you.
What do you do when your battles take on you?
In such situations, it's natural to feel overwhelmed, anxious, or unsure of what to do next or even surrender to fate (wetin go be go be).
But what if I told you that these battles are not just obstacles to be overcome, but opportunities for growth, transformation, and triumph?
When your battles choose you, it's the battle between fear and faith, doubt and determination, uncertainty and courage. Most times the war song of your enemies (the challenges on and against you) is the loudest.
The question is, which voice will you listen to? Will you let fear hold you back or you'll rise above it and evolve into all that you can be?
When life takes on you, it's easy to get caught up in the immediate challenge(s). But what if you stayed calm and looked at the bigger picture?
What if you saw your battle as a chance to learn, to grow, and to become a stronger, wiser version of yourself?
When you shift your focus from the challenges, you begin to see that your battles are not just about winning or losing, but about becoming the person you're meant to be.
When your battles choose you, remember that perseverance is key. When your battles choose you, remember that you are stronger than you think, braver than you feel, and more resilient than you know Every great victory requires persistence, determination, and grit.
Don't retreat, don't surrender.
