If I could choose any animal that currently exists as a pet, imagining that I had no costs with it, I would go for something crazy but without having to take any risks for having it. I'd go with a shark, in a huge aquarium. I'd have a hired diver to do the maintenance required. It would be badass and no risk for me unlike having a tiger or something like that.
