Just as I set off for my daily walk, the rain came down. Within minutes I was wet through so I thought I might as well carry on as I couldn't get any wetter.
The orange colour of the firethorn shrub looked pretty against the dark clouds.
These ladies grazing in the field held me up this morning. I was driving along the country lane when the farmer stopped me as the cows were being taken to another field. It's a common occurance here and the cows come first. I know my place.
There were a lot of swallows swooping up and down over the field. You can just see the little dots in the sky.
As I passed the pub garden, the wind had blown all the berries off the yew tree onto the picnic table.
Talking of wind, I'd forgotten I'd got my reading glasses resting on the top of my head. A gust of wind blew them off straight into a nearby tree. It's a good job they were only cheap. I decided to go home as it was safer.
