Hello! So you remember when Razer made a mask during the pandemic? That one. Well, it wasn’t as good as they said it was.

Here’s the deal. Supposedly, Razer’s mask, the Zephyr Mask was top-of-the-line–you know, N95 certified and everything. But that didn’t happen! Can you imagine? They claimed it to be N95 certified for COVID-19 protection and then just… didn’t test it.

Naturally, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) stepped in: “Hey Razer, you can’t say your mask is something it’s not!” And guess what? To reimburse everyone who bought one, Razer had to cough up over $1 million dollars. Yikes!

But hold up, it gets more painful— Razer was also fined $100,000 for false advertisement. Yeah they deserved it but I’m just sayin’, that’s a lot of money!

And guess what? Now Razer can’t make any claims about their products relating to COVID-19 without FDA approval. Shouldn’t they have known better? I mean come on, you’re a gaming company not a medical supplier!

I can’t be the only one who is disappointed by all this. We trusted Razer to give us a good mask during these trying times and they failed us. That’s just not right man.

So, as it happens there’s this thing with Razer masks. You know how it is with corporations these days. I mean who even knows what they’re thinking half the time? But that’s just the way things go sometimes – you can’t believe everything that you see or hear.

Keep safe and don’t just take their word for it – give those product claims a second look!
